The Valkyrie is one of the most extreme shapes in modern car design, and this set captures the drama better than most Technic hypercars manage. The venturi tunnels, the tiny cabin and the aggressive rear all read cleanly, and on a shelf it genuinely turns heads. It is also, underneath, a familiar Technic supercar proposition: a lot of the box is shaping that body, the functions are light, and the value depends on how much you want this specific car. As a display piece it is a highlight. As a working set it is ordinary.

The object on the shelf

Display is where this set earns its score. The Valkyrie's shape is almost cartoonishly aggressive in real life, and the model leans into it: the sculpted tunnels through the rear bodywork, the pinched cockpit and the low nose all land, and the finish gives it presence from across a room. It is one of the better-looking cars in the current Technic lineup and it knows exactly what it is for.

The build

Assembly is smooth and paced like the rest of the line: a mechanical spine first, then a long, careful stretch of panel work to resolve that dramatic body. The bodywork sequence is more interesting than usual here because the shape is so unconventional, and watching the tunnels take form is a genuine highlight of the build. Steering and suspension come together without fuss.

The value trade

The catch is the one every Technic supercar carries: the box is weighted toward single-use aero panels, so the reusable-parts ratio is modest, and the functions are the standard steering-and-suspension pair with little to return to. It is an excellent display model and a middling working one, and the recommendation rests entirely on wanting the Valkyrie on your shelf.
