Studcrate is a small, independent review site. We keep this simple because our data handling is simple: we do not run accounts, we do not sell anything directly, and we do not build advertising profiles of you.
What we collect
We do not ask you to create an account or hand over personal details to read anything on this site. We do not run our own comment system or newsletter. If you email us, we keep that message only for as long as it takes to answer you.
Analytics
We use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand which reviews are useful and where readers get stuck. That data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally. It tells us that a page was read, not who read it.
Affiliate links and cookies
Some outbound links to retailers are affiliate links. When you follow one, the retailer (for example Amazon) may set its own cookie so it can credit a purchase to us. That cookie is set by the retailer under its own privacy policy, not by us, and it never changes what you pay. See our affiliate disclosure for the full picture.
Your choices
You can browse Studcrate with your browser set to block third-party cookies and still read everything here. Blocking them only means a retailer may not credit us for a purchase you make after clicking through, which is entirely your call.
